If there is one niche Halo inhabits, it is being a device that can handle all the tasks you throw at it and being an absolute looker. Its waving side pillars, robust unibody aluminum frame, and unapologetically bright minimalism all serve to bolster that role. In V2's design, we just doubled down: a completely redesigned translucent bottom case extends the layered feel of the Ionic side pillars to three dimensions, while the gem-style nameplate LED brings a playful twist to Halo's already impressive lineup of functional lights. When the lights turn on, the bottom case ‘dissolves' into the Halo light band, creating the most breathtaking light effects ever seen on a NuPhy keyboard.

A brighter Halo.
Besides the bottom case, Halo96 V2's more powerful LEDs are the other force behind its spectacular light show. With 8 different light styles and positions for different lighting, Halo96 V2 is well-equipped to serve the most special and demanding work and aesthetic needs.
SignalRGB support.
Get a preview of what Halolight is capable of. With full SignalRGB support now, you can customize Halolight just like you would with keybinding and macros in VIA and control lighting of other SignalRGB compatible hardware.
3 different color choices.
Don't worry, black and white are not going away, but the Halo persona deserves new interpretations too. The three new themes retain the clean simplicity of neutral colorways, which imbue them with expressiveness when Halolight 2.0 is activated, and in their own ways enhance the binary aesthetics of the case when lit up.

Typing Feel & Sound
Hi-Fi Halo
When we hear a good idea, we steal it, especially from our own. Sorry, Gem, you've got to share your much acclaimed sound stack and gasket mount with Big Brother Halo, along with all of its 6 sound modules. From now on, Halo users can enjoy the custom keyboard-tailored sound experience and buffered typing feel without building one. Sometimes, it's just that simple.

PCB gasket mount.
Halo96 V2's PCB gasket mount, differing from Gem's plate gasket mount, offers a more balanced feel and sound.
Keycaps
New heights, new lows.
Introducing mSA, the sibling of our much mimicked nSA profile, now available for Halo users after more than 2 years in development. There are many small adjustments: a little shave of the SA height for more ergonomic appeal, bigger rounded top surface, and symmetrical design is a nod to nSA. Yet, even in the dark, it's hard to miss the illuminated homing bars, lit by south-facing LEDs whose brightness is designed to be enough to help navigate without being distracting.

Find your way home with light.
Built with triple injection processes, NuPhy's proprietary illuminated homing bars leverage the south-facing nature of the switches for illumination, which helps you find them from a greater range. The built-in power-saving feature ensures you won't see a direct difference in battery life from the way you interact with your keyboard.

Wireless Performance
Miles ahead in the 1000Hz race
We have taken the latency minimization game to a whole new level on Halo96 V2. Through the cutting-edge 1000Hz 2.4G SoC and the concerted efforts of our engineers in optimizing/testing, Halo users can now get wired-like, pro gaming grade wireless performance on their already OP keyboard.

The numbers tell the truth.
We ran some benchmark tests for the latency performance of the new Halo96 V2 against its predecessor and another QMK-based keyboard. Suffice it to say, the numbers speak louder and clearer than ever.

Firmware
Build boundless keybindings and shift layouts with layers.
It only makes sense to extend the excellent customizability that Halo96 V2 hardware enables to its firmware. With the open source QMK/VIA firmware, endless keymapping, lighting customization, and other creative possibilities, the potential of our hardware can truly be unleashed.

Mac, Windows, Linux...you name it.
VIA's key remapping and macros work seamlessly across all major desktop platforms or any browser-supported platform, making it easier than ever to customize your Halo96 V2 to your liking.

A shortcut for all Mac shortcuts.
With a gentle flick of the completely redesigned OS switch next to the connection mode switch, you can access all Mac-specific function keys, including ‘Do Not Disturb' and ‘Spotlight'… Driving your keyboard from Mac has never been easier.

NUPHY SWITCHES
Ready to blossom
The Herb switches, for the first time ever built with NuPhy branded housings, represent a concerted effort by NuPhy and Gateron to bring the tech and designs of 'bleeding edge' switches like Gateron's Baby Kangaroo/Raccoon to average switch users, all while maintaining the original 'division of labor': a 37gf linear switch, Mint, for heavy typists, a 45gf early actuated linear switch, Raspberry, to best serve gamers, and a 55gf tactile switch, Lemon, for everyone who craves tactile feedback and excellent sound. All switches come with POM stems, 21mm long springs, and next-gen Gateron factory lubrication. Nothing too spicy, but definitely the right amount of flavor for a satisfying typing experience.
