The V6 Max is a QMK custom mechanical keyboard with 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. It features a full-size 100% layout and offers a gasket-mounted design, sound-absorbing foam, double-shot PBT keycaps, and more. The V6 Max is designed to provide a personalized experience and enhanced typing comfort.
2.4 GHz & Bluetooth Connectivity
Experience peak gaming performance with 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity and a rapid 1000 Hz polling rate. For seamless multitasking across your computer, phone, and tablet, you can effortlessly connect the V6 Max to three devices via Bluetooth 5.1.

To build a fully customizable keyboard, we designed every component to be easily assembled so you can customize and adjust any or every part the way you want.
Dual Receivers
For a better 2.4 GHz wireless experience, the V6 Max comes with both a Type-C and a Type-A receiver. Enjoy quick plug-and-play times. Or, store them in the keyboard's magnetic storage slot on the top right.
The Epic Core Inside The Keyboard
A mighty ARM architecture MCU with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.
OSA Profile Double-Shot PBT Keycaps
These double-shot PBT keycaps are crafted with a similar height to the OEM profile and have an SA-like shape. We named it the OSA (OEM Spherical Angled) keycap. The PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the typing feel, and prevent the legends from fading.
Switch Layout Between macOS & Windows
Built with the Mac users’ experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, the Keychron V6 Max comes with a system toggle and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.
Gasket Mount Design
By adopting a gasket mount design along with a PC (Polycarbonate) plate, the V6 Max reduces acoustic resonance, offering a softer and quieter typing experience while enhancing flexibility.
Program With QMK & VIA on the V6 Max
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap every key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, and more for the knob, etc.
Get the V6 Max Keymap Working on VIA
Since the VIA code for the V6 Max is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized. Please download the corresponding keyboard JSON file below, open VIA, turn on "Show Design tab" on the "Settings" tab, and drag the JSON file into the "Design" tab on VIA to get the V6 Max keymap working on VIA.
Hot-Swappable
The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.
South-Facing RGB LED Lights
The south-facing RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist’s angle and installed with premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the user installs OEM or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.
Gateron Jupiter Switches
Our exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switches (for the fully assembled version only) are designed with a 3-pin structure, pre-lubed to meet Gateron's reliable quality standards, and have a lifespan of up to 80 million keypresses. Its unique LED diffuser design provides high RGB backlight transmittance and a softer backlight effect. The banana switch offers an early tactile bump at the top, similar to the Panda switch on the market, with a unique smooth experience.
Screw-In PCB Stabilizers
Even the smallest components matter to the feel at your fingertips. We integrated the screw-in PCB stabilizers for a smoother typing experience, while reducing wobbles on large keys such as space bar, shift, enter, and delete. The Keychron V6 Max also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.
