It has a compact 65% layout and offers a gasket mount design, sound-absorbing foam, double-shot PBT keycaps, and more. A Fully Customizable Keyboard
To create a fully customizable keyboard, we've designed every component to be easily assembled so you can customize and fine-tune any or every part exactly how you want it.
2.4 GHz and Bluetooth Connectivity
Experience peak gaming performance with 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity and a rapid 1000 Hz polling rate. For seamless multitasking across your computer, phone, and tablet, you can easily connect the V2 Max to three devices via Bluetooth 5.1.
Dual Receiver
For a better 2.4 GHz wireless experience, the V2 Max comes with both a Type-C and a Type-A receiver. Enjoy quick plug-and-play times. Alternatively, tuck them into the magnetic storage slot in the top right corner of the keyboard.
The Epic Core Inside the Keyboard
A powerful ARM-architecture MCU with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box, which makes latency virtually unnoticeable even in competitive gaming.
OSA Profile Double-Shot PBT Keycaps
These double-shot PBT keycaps have a height similar to the OEM profile and have an SA-like shape. We named it the OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycap. The PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the typing feel, and prevent the legends from fading.
Toggle Layout Between macOS & Windows
The Keychron V2 Max is designed with the Mac user experience in mind while still retaining compatibility for Windows devices, with a system toggle and an additional set of custom keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. You can now save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.
Gasket Mount Design
By adopting a gasket-mounted design along with a PC (Polycarbonate) plate, the V2 Max reduces acoustic resonance, offering a softer, quieter typing experience while enhancing flexibility.
Program With QMK & V2 Max
With full QMK and VIA support, you can easily program and remap every key on the keyboard. The open-source firmware means endless possibilities for keyboard layouts, shortcuts, backlight effects, even the knob, and more.
Get the V2 Max Keymap Working on VIA
Since the VIA code for the V2 Max is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized. Please download the appropriate keymap JSON file below, open VIA, turn on "Show Design tab" on the "Settings" tab, and drag the JSON file into the "Design" tab on VIA to get the V2 Max keymap working on VIA.
Hot-swappable Support
The hot-swappable sockets are mounted on the PCB, so you can install or change the switches without soldering. The PCB supports both 3-pin and 5-pin MX mechanical switches.
South-facing RGB LED Lights
The south-facing RGB LED design is made to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist's angle with premium non-shine-through PBT keycaps installed. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when the user installs OEM or Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on the keyboard.
Gateron Jupiter Switches
Our exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switches (for fully assembled versions only) feature a 3-pin design, are pre-lubed to reliable Gateron quality standards, and have a lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes. Their unique LED diffuser design provides high RGB backlight transmittance and a softer backlight effect. The banana switch offers an early tactile bump at the top, like the Panda switch on the market, with a unique smooth experience.
Screw-in PCB Stabilizers
Even small components matter to your fingertip feel. We integrated PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers for a smoother typing experience with less wobble on large keys like the space bar, Shift, Enter, and Delete. The Keychron V2 Max also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.
