Program with QMK and Launcher.

The open-source QMK firmware means endless possibilities for key remapping, macros, shortcuts, and more. Now, you can easily customize every key using the Keychron Launcher Web App.

Featuring a Mac layout while remaining compatible with Windows. It provides Mac users with the same multimedia and function key functions as Apple keyboards but with enhanced tactile feedback, setting it apart in the market.

Additionally, you can configure different keyboard mappings for both Mac and Windows devices using the Keychron Launcher Web app. This keyboard includes keycaps for macOS and Windows, along with extra Esc and Enter keys, facilitating seamless switching between operating systems.

Epic Core Inside

A powerful ARM architecture MCU with 256KB Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box on 2.4GHz and wired mode, which makes latency hardly noticeable even in competitive gaming.

To further optimize your typing experience, the K8 Max comes with our unique OSA profile (OEM profile with spherical angle) and double-shot PBT keycaps, designed to provide a more comfortable fingertip feel and excellent oil resistance for long-term use in a timeless tenkeyless layout.

Screw-in PCB Stabilizers

Even small components impact the feel at your fingertips. We integrated PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizers for a smoother typing experience with less wobble on large keys like spacebar, Shift, Enter, and Delete. The Keychron K8 Max also supports third-party screw-in PCB stabilizers.

RGB Backlight

 The RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typist's angle. The south-facing RGB is also free from interference when you install Cherry-profile alternative keycaps on your keyboard.

Comes with more than 22 types of RGB backlight settings. You can fine-tune the RGB hue, saturation, brightness, and effect speed with ease.

Ergonomic Support

Three levels of adjustable typing angle (3.4°, 7.7°, and 10.7°) and curved OSA-profile keycaps work together to provide long-lasting ergonomic support for your wrist.
