Delivery Policy
  1. No delivery service on Sundays and public holidays.
  2. For orders under HK$5000, we can arrange a van for you. The transportation fee will be collected by the driver. Delivery to your door with installation is charged separately.
  3. Delivery service is not available in the following areas: restricted areas, roads where vehicles weighing 5.5 tons or more cannot enter, exhibition venues, warehouses, hotels, renovated units, boathouses/boats, construction sites, container terminals, locations where goods must be hoisted into the house from the balcony, or locations where the on-site environment does not allow for the delivery of purchased goods. If delivery to a passenger terminal is required, customers must arrange sea transportation and cargo loading/unloading themselves.
  4. The delivery service fee covers a range of 100 meters between the unloading point and the delivery address. Otherwise, the assigned delivery team will directly charge a handling fee of HK$200.
  5. All transportation services are arranged by HOME MADE. If no one is present at the delivery address on the delivery day, a redelivery fee of HK$200 will be charged, depending on the area.
  6. As delivery services are arranged on a subcontracted basis, HOME MADE will not be involved in any damages caused during transportation and installation (including building facilities at the delivery address, customers' home facilities, renovation, and belongings). Customers must negotiate a solution with the transportation personnel directly.
  7. If severe weather, serious flooding, road blockages, or closures occur on the delivery day, delivery services may be delayed or suspended. We will contact customers by phone to reschedule.
  8. If the delivery address is more than one street or 100 meters away from the permissible parking location, an additional fee of HK$200 will be charged for the delivery service.
  9. If the delivery address has no elevator, there will be an upstairs delivery fee. For large items such as dining tables/sofas/cabinets, HK$250 will be charged per floor; for other items, HK$150 will be charged per floor. Actual additional fees need to be reconfirmed.

10. Outlying islands and restricted areas can only be delivered to the nearest port.

11. If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or a Black Rainstorm Warning is issued, delivery services on that day will be canceled.

12. For some remote areas or areas without direct public transport access, customers may be required to pay additional fees.

13. If you wish to cancel an order for any reason, please notify us immediately. If the item has already been shipped, the order cannot be canceled.

14. During delivery, if the delivery vehicle cannot reach the building entrance directly and the goods need to be pushed over a certain distance, customers will be charged an additional fee.

15. During receipt and installation, customers must carefully store and protect other furniture, floors, walls, decorations, and property. The company will not be responsible for any damages.

16. If delivery is made on the agreed date and time but the customer fails to receive the goods, the customer will be charged for round-trip delivery fees and administrative fees.

17. Customers must carefully inspect and count the goods before signing for them. Once signed, the company will no longer be responsible for the goods.

18. Customers will be notified in advance of delivery. If a customer changes the delivery date without notice and the delivery arrives at the scheduled time, the customer will be responsible for an additional delivery fee of $450 per trip.

19. Any errors or omissions in the delivery information may cause delays in delivery and additional delivery fees.

20. Customers must proactively provide the main door and door dimensions of their residence to the company. Otherwise, if the product cannot enter the house due to limitations of the customer's residence and surrounding area after the product specifications are confirmed, the customer will be responsible for additional transportation costs. Customers should inspect all product accessories upon receipt to ensure they are complete and undamaged. After customer acceptance, the delivery note must be signed for confirmation.

Delivery is currently limited to Hong Kong regions:

 

For products whose dimensions meet the logistics company's size requirements (e.g., small appliances, home goods, small items, small furniture, etc.):

  • All items can be picked up in-store or shipped via SF Express. If you choose SF Express, the shipping fee is HKD$100. Customers can choose SF Express self-pickup points, smart lockers, or direct delivery to a residential/company address (additional charges may apply for direct delivery to customer addresses). Please fill in the recipient address information clearly when placing an order.
  • For products in stock in Hong Kong chosen for express delivery, after order confirmation, we will ship within 2-3 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays). Orders are generally delivered within 3 to 5 working days. For pre-ordered products not in stock, customers should note the ordering time specified in the product description. We will notify customers and dispatch the goods upon arrival.
  • If an order contains both in-stock and pre-ordered items, we will ship all items together once they have all arrived.

 

All return orders are limited to the following conditions:

-Color deviation is not a valid reason for return.

-Customers should inspect upon arrival to ensure the order is complete and items are in good condition. If customers discover quality issues due to manufacturing defects after signing the receipt document, returns will not be accepted.

-Returns, cancellations, or exchanges of specially ordered furniture are not accepted.

-Customers are responsible for ensuring that the furniture fits the internal structure of all delivery locations and can enter the desired space.

-Returned items can only be exchanged for items of the same color and product model as the original order.

-All delivery fees are non-refundable.

-The colors of goods displayed on the website depend on multiple factors, including your display type or display screen settings; we cannot fully guarantee that your display will accurately represent the colors to match the actual product.

-Differences between the actual product and photos may occur due to the natural characteristics of the material or artificial materials, such as color differences, leather grain, wood grain, and stitching on fabric sofas. Therefore, discrepancies between the website's product photos and the actual product's color cannot be used as a reason for return.

-All product dimensions are approximate and may vary by about 1mm to 3mm.

-In case of any dispute, HOME MADE reserves the right of final decision.

-HOME MADE reserves the right of final decision on all inspection fees, transportation fees, or dismantling and shipping fees that need to be charged.

Solid Wood Knowledge
Naturally grown wood has its unique characteristics. The same piece of wood may exhibit variations in shades, unique grain patterns, knots, natural spots, or mineral lines, etc. These are normal phenomena. There will also be differences in color and wood grain between spliced wood panels, which makes all solid wood products more unique.
The natural characteristics of wood mentioned above are not considered quality issues and therefore cannot be used as a reason for return or exchange. Please be aware.
