Epic Core within the Keyboard
A powerful ARM Cortex-M4 chip (MCU) with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz in both 2.4 GHz and wired modes (90 Hz in Bluetooth mode), which makes latency almost unnoticeable even in competitive gaming.
Double-Gasket Design
The double-gasket design is a new innovative structure in the industry. In addition to the gaskets on the plates, we added silicone pads between the top and bottom cases to significantly reduce sound resonance between the metals and decrease the noise of the affected metals.
Experience a higher level of key sound and comfort with our gasket-mount design and flexible PC (polycarbonate) plate. This design combination allows the keyboard to maintain the flexibility of a gasket structure and improve the overall typing sound.
KSA Double-Shot PBT Keycaps
To further fine-tune your typing experience, we've designed a unique Keychron Spherical Angle (KSA profile) double-shot keycap set made from premium non-backlight PBT material, which is oil-resistant and durable for long-term use.
For All Devices
The Q5 Max is designed with Mac users in mind while remaining compatible with Windows devices, featuring a system toggle switch and an additional set of customized keycaps for both Windows and macOS systems. Now you can save two different layouts on the keyboard, one for each system.

As the VIA code for the Q5 Max is still awaiting approval on Github, it is not yet automatically recognized. Please download the corresponding keymap JSON file below, open VIA, enable "Show Design tab" on the "Settings" tab, then drag the JSON file into the "Design" tab on VIA to make the Q5 Max keymap work on VIA.

Hot-Swappable
Every detail matters for a personalized typing experience, and that's why we give you the power. You can hot-swap every switch on the Q5 Max with almost all 3-pin and 5-pin MX style mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering. You can customize your own typing experience in seconds.
South-facing RGB
Comes with 22 types of RGB backlight settings. You can further fine-tune the RGB hue, saturation, brightness, effect speed, and different modes, and you can even remap these keys using QMK/VIA.
Gateron Jupiter Switches
Our exclusive Gateron Jupiter mechanical switches (available only on fully assembled versions) feature a 3-pin design, are pre-lubed to meet reliable Gateron quality standards, and have a key lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes. Their unique LED diffuser design provides high RGB backlight transmittance and a softer backlight effect.
The Banana switch provides an early tactile bump at the top, offering a unique smooth experience, much like the Panda switches on the market.

When it comes to the feel on your fingertips, every detail matters. We’ve integrated the screw-in design PCB stabilizers for a smoother typing experience, reducing the wobble on large keys like the space bar, Shift, Enter, and Delete keys.
