Simplicity with a Touch of Warmth

In terms of furniture design, the designer often uses a "blank space" approach, specifically a suspended design in the middle, to greatly enhance the sense of space and make the home feel more open, avoiding the oppressive feeling of a monolithic furniture piece. The shoe cabinet in the living room entrance not only has a blank space in the middle but also at the bottom, making it convenient for the homeowner to place house slippers for wearing before and after going out. Some people also make the blank space under the shoe cabinet a bit higher and install lights to subtly illuminate the home at night for convenience. The empty spaces in the rooms can be used for small decorations or to conveniently place daily necessities, water cups, or small appliances like diffusers.

The living room is accented with a dark wood table, and even the monolithic wardrobe has a small blank space that serves as a bedside cabinet for daily essentials. Eschewing an all-white design, the designer opted for a light industrial style for the walls, using soft, light colors that are gentler than typical industrial styles, unifying the house's design.

Less is More

The minimalist style discards unnecessary designs, simplifying everything to create a comfortable, bright, and functional home. White and light wood tones are chosen as the overall base for the space, establishing a warm ambiance; furniture is configured with brown, beige, and a small amount of black to balance the overall visual aesthetic, and numerous plants are used to enliven each space; fresh green is extended to the study's cabinetry and walls, complementing the wood tones to form a refreshing and comfortable atmosphere.
